A few years ago, I drove one of these for a while, as a company car. It was the facelift version, and had a 4-speed automatic. A bit slow, but very comfortable.
Most of the knocking noises are probably just sway bar bushing and links. But this makes me feel better about my 2005 Camry with 2.5 times the mileage.
Fahre diese Picanto seit 2006 bis Heute, Null Reparatur, Null Verschleiß außer die Bremsen und Reifen. Kat immer noch nicht Kaputt., Früher war der KAT nach 7-9 J. Verrostet. Ich Fahre jetzt nicht mehr so viel wie Früher und nur kurz Strecken. Auf Tacho sind fast 100000 km. So ein gutes und zuverlässige Auto habe ich nie gehabt. Obwohl ich verschiedene Auto schon mal gehabt habe wie Fiat 127- Käfer VW Golf -BMW 2002Ti- Toyota-Corolla- Renault 16- Citroen DX -Audi 100- Peugeot 309 Diesel-Opel Corsa

If it's thet same Kia I Rember a commercial about this Kias with different colours on the tv screen back in the day I think this is the same Kia from back then not sure but I think this is the same car from thet tv commercial cars going in the city with different colour 😂I only saw in on tv but never on close look and from the inside however this car is looking small and great from beginners and for Ur first car and meybe for Ur own for long time if this car shows U some good in it I think this car well Surve U right and u shall not. By any other car 😂if I can't see cars close enaugh from the out side and from the inside thet is where jeo black came is 😂. If you consider getting this car; I warn you. Don't. I had this same exact car and it was the most unreliable car I have ever owned. Literally was only spending on repairs with only 60;000 kilometers on the clock. Piece of junk.
I have one for 13 years and 150.000 km and never bothered me. I repair it only for my peace of mind but could go on and on even without. Only oil, brake pads and timing belt.
@@mariusfurtuna9422 Lucky you. Was it this 1.1 4-cylinder engine? These had a manufacturing fault where crankshaft pulley bolt failure would happen at around 60-70 000 km if not replaced properly under recall. I was the second owner and unfortunately, the original owner ignored the recall. In addition, I got stuck inside the car several times due to door locks being defective in winter. My experience is that first gen. Picantos are very poorly made cars. Tell me more about your exact model, I am interested.
@@kristianboda6298 True. I have the crankshaft problem but i fixed it in the most easy way because it was a hassle to fix it otherwise. I noticed it at 100.000 km. The play of the the pinion weared the cranckshaft a little bit. So I bought new pinion to minimise the gap, new bolt and locktite 660 (special for gap play like this). It worked as the locktite hardened and closed the gap between pinion and crankshaft. 65.000 km and still fine, i will check on it after 5000 km when i change the timing belt again. Yes i know, it is a big problem, and if you choose to deal with it it's crap... you will hate te car 100%. But i did not know about the recall.. warrany was over. Can't imagine what they fixed on it else than the shitty soft material pinion and new bolt.
