@@tacojesus4783 Nope, stolen cars will not end up on their roads, how do you think they can have plates and papers? (yeah even in africa, if thats what youre gonna say. this is congo, a french colony with a lot of french rules and laws) stolen cars will most likely be dissasembled and sold as parts, wherever you live.
swiss guy here. people in my country change car way too often (avarage car age on the road: 8 years) so the second hand market is saturated. we have this kind of perfectly good used cars going in africa because we have too many that nobody wants , either because they cant afford them , and if they can they will buy new.... Im pretty sure this car is probably one of them!
@@zNoah Sorry but aligning the steering wheel straight is 30 minutes of labor. The wheel alignment in this CLS is not that bad as it goes straight after all.
@@zNoah All the more reason people should invest in Africa. $10,000 machine easily pays itself back quickly both for the operator and the local economy, when vehicles are maintained properly.
@@JeremiBulakowski if you put the steering wheel straight its just going to be vissually okay. the wheels need alignements and its doesnt take 30 mins.
Well no, in hyundai santa fe video it was the best condition too, an also if u look closely you can see A hyundai Palisade latest gen In front of the car that he reviewed
Nice videos Passy! So nice to see driving and regular traffic in Congo, completely different. Yet every car that i have seen on ur channel needs a wheel alignment!! :D
Good luck aligning anything with this suspension setup haha - I can imagine bushings aren’t easy to come by these ends I agree though, the videos are top notch! You sure don’t get this perspective with cable television
Man that driving style is sick! Did you notice he didn't look in the mirrors even a single time? I wonder what the traffic rules are. Seems like the one in front always has the right of way, and if the one in the back can't move away he honks. Am I right?
When he pulled out at the beginning onto the junction he didn't even look left, ig its a unused road but still driving that car probably scares people of hitting it so he got the right of way
@@goldendlolig8237 yeah well that is actually how many people in less developed countries drive. It was the same way with the Sri Lanka POV Drive channel. I see it everyday where I live and it goes along with not having the seatbelt on. Perhaps it's the traditional way of driving passed down thru generations or perhaps it makes them feel more manly or something. For bonus points some idiots have the AC on along with having their windows down.
This is a great spec. I hope someone can take it and clean it up. This car doesn't deserve to die. You don't even see new Mercedes with that kind of leather option anymore. These were built so well. The new Mercs are full of cheap plastic inside. This car has aged so well especially the interior.
@@srliam47 I have and they all feel like garbage compared to these. The new C Class has more plastic than cars half its price. The entire lower dash and door panels are all hard plastic. The previous versions were not like that. The GLE and GLS is just as bad. The only car that still has quality materials all over is the S Class. But back in these generations they didn't use cheap materials in the C and E like they do now.
Something tells me this car won't last much longer unfortunately.. Don't get me wrong, I really like them, but those Mercs weren't as strong as the older ones.
@@nnnnn9194 not only about giving a f probably it’s not possible too as often because of money this place looks very poor I’m sure there’s nice parts to it but my point is generally speaking it’s much harder to afford a car I’m sure
Yeah it's mostly the electronic stuff in these cars, the mechanical stuff they can probably patch up when it breaks, but the electronics running everything aren't an easy roadside repair.
Totally acceptable car even in Europe today. Must feel like a spaceship there. Doesn't go straight, typical sign of car rolling in Africa but not bad at all....
This car curses the day it rolled off the production line. Really, is there a worse fate for a vehicle than to end up in Africa, India or a similar... hellhole?
4:57 an old european ambulance mercedes sprinter approaches in the other lane. emergency light holder on the hood. the painted stripe on the side also matches the ambulance.
@@marioelburro1492 just buying it the most easy part, even 18 years old balkan tenneger can loan money from bank and get it, the hard part is to maintain it :)
The most impressive thing is the Alcantara headliner and the full leather Nappa dashboard with door cards. You nearly never see this in the small Mercedes like a CLS, only in an S. And this CLS is even a Diesel only, wow.
@@srliam47 Stop it, the CLS is far from an S-Class, it's based on a W211 E-Class and is no full size sedan. It's still a small car with not that much luxury and it has nearly no space at all.
@@Danse_Macabre_125 4,91m is nothing, what do you mean? It‘s not even 5m, it‘s basically a compact car and it‘s got no space in the interior. I only drive full size sedans since my driver’s license, like long wheel base 7 series and A8 L. These are big, but not a girly CLS.
