in greece the steering is parametric,in the city is light and on highway is havy

I have the same car (05 cdi) the hydraulic steering is weighted so nicely just heavy enough. Compared to most electric assist steering which I find to light and you are consistently "sawing" to keep centered/straight.

Wushi 99 in my opinion: Mers is really good option. It’s “patience” cars if you gonna buy in good condition. About touareg - i drive it (2.5tdi) at work. And its too weak for such a weight. Also first gear (cause its an suv) is really short, so with manual to drive in the city isnt really fun Cant say anything about audi or chevy, but bmw is really fun to drive. Ofcourse of your list its the most powerful one. Good luck with your search and wishes from Lithuania.

Good point. But also in my opinion: in now days it’s hard to find W211 in good condition with good value. And if you find 220 instead of 320 - not a big deal. Still a great car - chip tiuning will make car also enough fun. (Just my opinion)

p2r2d0x jeigu leidžia kišenė tai kodėl ne. Žinoma 2.7 variklis nebus pats ekonomiškiausias ir draugams su passat’ais galėsi tik pavydėti. Eksplotacija mersedesų taipogi brangesnė. Žinoma pats automobilis irgi itin komfortiškas. Siūlau įvertinti savo finansus, pagalvoti kiek km suksi ir tuomet pats priimsi sprendimą :)))

@Chill Drive Svarbu kad nereiktu kišt pinigų tvarkymam, ir kad gaza paspaudus draugo passata išeitu aplenkt, o ten daugiau niekas kitas ir nelabai svarbu, nu o manau i 10l 100km telpant labai gerai čia :D

Jeigu gyva nupirksi, pinigų kišti nereikės - kantri mašina, tačiau gyvą rasti bus reikalų :))) Jeigu koja nesunki tai 10l mieste bus, daugiau nebent visad nuo šviesoforo pirmas pajudi.

Pas manes miestas su dviem šviesoforais tai nemanau kad jau labai ir sieks 10 litrų šimtui, o šiaip realiai, rasti gera pre fl ir netuščia ir ne už kosmine kaina, jau tikrai sunku

yeah, it's not bad, but in my opinion this engine (110 kw) is too weak for such a car.

Do you think that e300 cdi will be better choice? I am currently on a look for such car and from what i have seen this is the best engine with good fuel economy. But I am not keen about the running costs.

I prefer E280cdi, cause it's very good for chip tuning and the models after 2006 has 7 speed automatic gearbox, which works very well. :)) but it's only my opinion. Good luck for searching the best deal!
