@Truth Reigns Forever I wanna say 4.56, went from the 1200 to the 2200 with intercooler and now coyote swapping so have been through a couple different sets of gears but pretty sure it was 4.56.

Because this kit is called draw through. Meaning the MAF is prior to the supercharger and once the air is metered going into the engine you have to make it go back into the engine. Only way around that is to convert to a blow through style MAF and measure the air after the blow off into the atmosphere. I have seen no significant temp changes though in either method vs the other.

@@totljag1 it's bad ass. I have the stage 0 with no other mods except a high flow cat X. The car dynoed 420 to the tires on a 80° super humid day with some big heavy saleen 20" wheels on it. The brenspeed tune is on point and basically still has the manners and drivability of stock. The only thing I'd say is if you're looking for blower whine the e series is not for you. It's a ghost under the hood. U can see my car and dyno pull on my channel.

Honestly I do this every day and I have never had a car come in with that kit. I dont even know what moddbox is. If it is a M90 like say on a Roush it should have been intercooled from the factory. If its not already, sorry I cant help. Thank you so much for watching!

@Brenspeed the kit is also known as a HiPo Supercharger Kit . This particular M90 is a 4th Generation Model . I own a 2007 4.0 Terlingua it’s a V6 . It’s came with this exact Paxton setup In your video. I was restoring it and Irrationally I sold the set up a while back to a friend who doesn’t want to sell it back to me. So I picked up this HiPo Kit for a steal . It’s already bolted up and tuned. Kept psi around 7 to be safe but I have forged internals and did a rebuild kit on the engine about 2 months ago so I would want to safely spike up the psi . So Sorry to hammer at this, just curious to know if I could upgrade to heat transfer or an intercooler before going back to the Paxton. I helped during the install, so I know for a fact there is not in internal intercooler like the blowers I’m personally accumulated to.

A novi 2200 is roughly 10 at 6200 and maybe 12 at 6800 with a 3.4, so a 3.33 on a smaller 1200 might be correct 9.5 at 6200 via an intercooler depending on the headers and altitude.

3V bolt on parts. Lower gears like 3.73 or 4.10, long tube headers, intake manifold or delete plates, JLT series 3, Detroit Rocker Cams, Steeda underdrive pulleys, topped with a FRPP twin throttle body. Nice set up.

Stock engine, cams, headers, premium fuel... over 500 to the tires.

Not sure what you mean by "car" but I will explain. The "engine" does not run hot. Having a non intercooled supercharger which is not uncommon in the industry to does have higher air intake temps on hot days than an intercooled system. The calibration adjusts for this and is normal. So yes non intercooled vs. intercooled runs higher intake temps if that is what you mean but the calibration adjusts spark for it. The air to air upgrade switches you from a 3.8 to 3.6. Part of the reason for the smaller pulley is to keep the boost up with adding all the plumbing. Boost depends on factors like exhaust, elevation, etc... it would be 8-10 ish depending on how high of RPM you run. An intercooler adds power over when IAT temps would be up on non intercooled. So just putting it on a dyno cold does not show gains vs. non intercooled typically. You get the gains with power would drop off on a non intercooled kit when IAT temps start to climb. The higher the temps the more timing is pulled which reduces power. So having an intercooler helps prevent the IAT increase which equals more power vs. if you didnt have it. I would do rockers and LT headers now then an intercooler.

Yes you just let the car warm up like you normally would. The supercharger oil will warm up just like the engine oil. Don't just start it in zero temps and take off which you shouldnt do anyways on a stock engine. Just put a little heat in it and good to go. Also because no boost a light throttle it will handle like normal in snow.

I have never had them come apart. Yes delete plates are great.

There is not a carb number on these kits.

If its a manual, around 490-500 rwhp if you have long tubes, throttle body, and delete plates. Good air of course. You would also be removing underdrive pulleys if you have those as well as the JLT intake. Lots of variables when it comes to the dyno but around there if the car was here on our dyno which is a dynojet rated SAE. Auto might be a little less.

I do still have the stock intake manifold, what kind of upgrades are available to the make more power of the supercharger? Also I made 324 pound feet of torque, is it safe to say I'd be around the 450 safe point?

You do not need to move the IAT again after installing the intercooler. Heat soak depends on temp outside and what you are doing with the car. Sitting in traffic, driving, is it 100 degrees out, 70 degrees out, depends on a lot of factors to determine how "quickly" IAT rise and start pulling timing. I dont think it is annoying personally.

You could do an air to air intercooler or cams & headers are great. Delete plates are good as well or a FRPP manifold and throttle body.

As long as it is intercooled it is not a requirement. BUT if you already have it and add an intercooler later it is OK to have it.

Yes it will add horsepower by maybe 10 and because of less restriction it is a little easier on the engine.

Yes they are.

No you do not have to have one. This kit is designed to be non intercooled and the calibration is also.

Dont run the underdrive pulleys with the supercharger you will gain about 60 HP less. We have stock crank pulleys and stock water pump pulleys I am sure we can get for you cheap if you are getting the supercharger from us. THANKS!

1200 is a smaller head unit than the 2200. If you ever want to get a built engine and go high horsepower a 2200 is better. On a stock engine the 1200 is very capable.

You will remove the JLT when adding a supercharger. It comes with its own induction.

Depends what you do with the car. If you race the heck out of it and beat it down all the time with highway kick downs 550HP can hurt them. Some last longer than others though. THANKS

I would not because your torque will sky rocket with a 100 shot and put you over the limits of the stock rods.

Your current mod list is fine with this kit. It is a bolt on kit no modifications. It does not pull timing based off of ambient outside air, it pulls based off the temp after the supercharger entering the engine. BUT to answer your question you would start to notice power decrease once intake temps were getting above 150 degrees. By notice I mean at that point enough adjustment is happening you might feel it seat of the pants. THANKS

Brenspeed can I have a local custom dyno tune done if I choose to?

I ran the kit non-intercooled for a summer and then intercooled for a few summers and by far, the intercooled kit feels much more consistent and makes a dramatic amount of power compared to non-intercooled. 93 octane highly reccomended!

@@BradleyMcCartney I went with the Brenspeed air to air intercooler upgrade kit. I would not suggest going no-intercooled unless you really don't speed all that often as once it gets hot under the hood, it pulls a ton of power for safety reasons and you'll be as slow as stock lol. The intercooler is above and beyond being non-intercooled. 10 psi + 93 octane is the way to go!

We install these on 130k motors that have been taken care of. Key is that it has had the oil changed routinely and is in good mechanical condition. I have also seen 60k motors that have not hardly had the oil changed that would not even put cams in it was so nasty. So it really depends on the history of the engine. THANKS
