Nice easy to see video and instructions...i just removed the window washer tank and can clearly see the rubber on this mount is ripped...i bought the 2 top mounts and am hoping after i replace this passenger side the slight vibration stops...if not i will replace the other top one as well...i think the bottom trans is the hardest...no big deal i will replace if needed...thanks... PS i hope my nut is missing on mine so i wont have to crawl under neath...lol...thanks for sharing...
@@Mr_Goody i was able to easily do the passenger side ...also had no problem removing the bottom nut from the top...just remove the fuse box 14mm bracket bolts...then you have room... used a box end to remove nut..BUT,.It took me forever to remove the one in the front bottom engine mount...real pain in the ass..way harder than it looked... it got dark so i will have to finish installing new in morn...Good news is both the mounts was totally garbage and needed replacement... thanks
It can make a noise yes, The best way to check his departure car and have somebody get in it and shift the gears and see if the engine moves when you’re shifting the gears if the bushing in the motor mount is bad the engine will move while your shifting the gears ⚙️
It has been a little bit since I’ve done this video and Job. But what you wanna do is just look under the engine and see a good sturdy place. Meaning you don’t want to of course jack the car up under the oil pan or the transmission pan or on any parts that would break if you put any pressure on them you want to put the jack where the bulk of the engines wait will be and usually that’s right in the center somewhere and another precaution I did was I put two wooden squares for my 2 x 4 where the Jack is going to lift up the engine so it would not be metal to metal and it would distribute the weight a little better. I hope I’m making a little bit of sense to you.
Honestly I’m not for sure it depends on what they charge an hour and the prices have changed so much since Covid has hit mean I would say anywhere between 45 and 65 an hour and it shouldn’t take no more than an hour. So you should just call around to garages and get different prices I would not pay in no scenario over 150 though.
