I should make some too. I got my 2006 gs 5 speed about 6 months ago and I am loving it. Never pictured myself getting this car and it surprises me how nice it sounds just stock . Except the girl who owned it before me hit a parked car so I have alot of nasty rattles from bumpers and shit. One nasty rattle at 1600-2100 rpm when i apply the throttle or am declerating at low gear 1-2 maybe 3 also... sounds like metal in a tin can rattling but it seems to drive just fine... Any experience with that?
wondering if its my clutch or worse.... tranny bearings/gears can cv axles do that? i have a torn inner cv boot and also replaced tranny fluid and wheel bearings + lower ball joints and all motor mounts besides tranny mount..
J- Train Check your exhauast heat shields. They're known to rattle under load at those exact conditions you mentioned. Mine used to do it. It's probably that.
Sunset4G thanks for the advice! I forgot to mention that I went and removed every single heat shield besides the gas tank her shields attached to it or whatever... All others are gone now. It's crazy... Sounds like from front end. Girl who owned it before me hit a parked car so who knows... Thanks again. If you think of anything let me know man. Can axkes do this? My passenger inner boot at the tranny is torn but at the depth of a crease so not the worst scenario ever I guess... ?
You still have that car lol looks nice man! Wish when i still had mine i had gotten them rims they look great. I had to get rid of it cuz too much problems all at once including transmission

Orlando Hernandez Should be on the inside door jam on the drivers door. There is also a data sticker on the firewall near the passenger side. It's a silver sticker. I think the paint code might be on there as well
