2006: Guiding Light 

One of my favorite GL openings. The dynamic music is very befitting of a soap opera.

This is my favorite Guiding Light opening. I wish it had lasted longer. The music is exciting and dynamic and the visuals are very dramatic. It reminds me of the opening credits from the ABC soaps from that same time period.

If I must say the overall best Opening that GUIDING LIGHT ever had was the 1991 -2002 theme "" Hold on to Love ""

This the tail end of GL and I knew it was going to end one day. Miss it so much.

Ugh, the version with the horrific Cassie. Nothing against the actress but no one could do it like Laura Wright in my opinion :-)

@DaMunchkinhead it may, in reruns..after 72 years (combination radio and television), Guiding Light was canceled last year..(it started on the radio in 1937, then went to television in 1952)..didn't realize there were places in the world that had never heard of this show...
