Cannot thank you enough. My front outlet was out for so long and I was living with it, running power from the rear with a super long cord, dreading buying new parts, praying not to pay a mechanic to fix it, but WOW! 20 minutes, a pair of needle nose pliers, and it's working fine! Didn't even have to buy a new fuse with the under-the-hood spares. So excited, thank you!
I have a 2005 CR-V and this was the video that saved me $200 for replacing my front and rear cigarette outlets since I only knew to check one of those fuses (fuse #18 which was fine) and it turns out fuse 15 and 2 were bad. Swapping those with the spares got me both cigarette ports back! Thank you so so much!
Great video. Very clear and concise. Replaced the blown cigarette lighter fuse with the spare 15A from under the hood and voila - back in business...for phone chargers, not smoking, that is.
Great vid, but I'm not certain this is 100% accurate. I have an 06 CRV which keeps blowing #15. My manual has it labeled "+B FR ACC". My #18 Fuse is clearly labeled "Front Accessory Power Socket." I'm not certain but I was thinking FR means Front Relay? Neither front nor rear work.
I was able to replace the fuse for the back outlet using this video about 6 months ago, thank you! I just replaced the front one and it immediately blew. Do you think the outlet itself might be the problem? I’ll try swapping the relay first I think
Hello, please help if possible. 2004 Honda crv. There's a blue plug in my fuse box that's currently unplugged, and I have no idea where its meant to be plugged in. Blue plug, with 1 x brown wire and 1 x brown and yellow wire. Any idea where its meant to be plugged in? In cab fuse fox. a bunch of vacant slots above the usual fuses. any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is there any way to get power to at least one of the power outlets on a 2014 CRV to stay on when the key is off? I live a long way from Costco and use a small 12v freezer to make my Costco run so that nothing thaws on the trip home but because all of the power outlets turn off with the key, the freezer will not stay cold while I am shopping.
I have the same car and my cigarette lighter port is not working. I checked the fuses and had one blown #15 blue. We replaced it and it still didn’t work. What should I do
great video but im confused. where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter below the radio because I was using a pump and it suddenly stopped and I think the fuse for the cigarette lighter is blown. any tips?
That’s great. Good video. I have a 2007 so will it be the same way? Because my front cigarette lighter powered thing went out and I’ve been looking to try to find the fuse
