In re watching this - as a proud Melbournian - the commentator blamed the announcer for misrepresenting the announcement of Ron Barassi and then Herb Elliot - in fact the announcer had it correct and the commentator wasn’t listening and had it incorrect.
Damn, Delta can sing. There was controversy surrounding God Save the Queen. It was publicised that we weren't going to sing it as our anthem (which it is, when She is in the country). I think happy birthday was a nice touch, wasn't it? I think we should have a Head of State who's one of us, yet our monarch is the best Head of State you could ever wish for from another country.
