2019 Reading comments first to make sure it's not a waste of time. Who else does the same? AWESOME MOVIE!!! Truly enjoyed ... Pull out your kleenex, your gonna need it.
Never underestimate the power of love a mother has for her children. I can relate to this heart wrenching story as I had a daughter who was brutally beaten and kept away from me. Went looking for her without knowing for sure where she was and ended up underneath her window in an old part of Portland. It was a few years later as I was telling the story she exclaimed she was awakened by my calling her and she thought it was a dream, it was 2:30 in the morning. We compared timelines and , for certain I was on sidewalk underneath the apt she was in! My intuition has served me well over the years and is still with me today as I'm nearing 70.
Yeah, Portland Oregon is on my destination of places NEVER to go to. Had a friends son get hung in a tree by someone after getting his phone stolen. Police will never solve the case of all the hangings in that city. All from Trees and with either belts or ropes. All young people too.
An amazing story. Well written and portrayed. These stories have the ability to bring tears of empathy and gratitude....as the mother of a young adult who passed recently....it brings many emotions. I'm happy for families with happy endings.
Great movie. When there's a crisis in America, we hear prayers for our Nation. I was disappointed to not hear a word of prayer from anybody for the lost young man. Only after his discovery I hear, 'Thank God". It shows that god is faithful and is very compassionate about people even if we don't acknowledge him. Thank you God.
A nation of “thoughts & prayers” is useless to those in need!!! Faithful? To who? The priest abusing children? So much suffering for those that are faithful to false gods whom never answer their prayers. Why are so many of your god’s followers not worthy of saving?? In the end it is ALWAYS real people that answer prayers which is why my FAITH remains strong with humanity. The John Jay report indicated that some 11,000 allegations had been made against 4,392 priests in the USA. Nearly 2,000 children abused by more than 450 Catholic leaders in Illinois. A multi-year investigation into child sex abuse by members of the Catholic clergy in Illinois found at least 1,997 children across the state were sexually abused.May 23, 2023 Religion is single-handedly the most significant threat to any chance WE have for Peace on Earth. War, segregation, hate, judgment and murder ALL in the name of one god or another 💔ENOUGH IS ENOUGH - People NEED People & NOT religion.
I loved this show first time i watched it and i still love it today. This is about basically how one boy brought his family that was broken back to one family the way they should had been in the beginning. Yet he wasnt even trying he was just being a typical teen but that typical teen was so loved and his family so blinded and distancing themselves from each other and in the end came together to find this boy, their son, their brother. And in the end a mom refusing to give up on a love so deep for her child and found him. It is a beautiful moving movie. Because things like this happens so much in life broken families coming back together from something tragic happening that made them open their eyes before it went the wrong way.
My mother's maternal instincts are horrible. It's a miracle me and both my brothers are still alive. She nevers knows when something is wrong. My first memory of how bad she was, was when I saw my brother at age 2 floating on his back in the middle of a salt lake crying. She let our dog out at night at truck stop after my brother begged her not to saying she would be fine. 2 minutes later we heard the dog cry. She died from internal injuries minutes later. She let her declawed cat out in the middle of the desert on a camping trip and it disappeared. There are so many memories. She never believed I was sick with a rare autoimmune disease that was discovered way after left home and said it was in my head. The point I'm trying to make is not all mothers have great intuition and were meant to be mothers and can really mess their kids up.
Oh yes! I know something about this too! I'm ugly, stupid, never going to be anybody and I shouldn't wear nice clothes because these are not for people like me! These are the nice things about me.
OMG. This was a wonderful movie! As a mother my children haven't made the smartest of choices. This young man had a mom that believed in her son. Its a heart wrinching film about the adversities the family goes through. In the end all is well and relationships strengthened.
I am 59 and still respect and obey my parents, my kids learning the same thing. My son in medical school and listens 2 me, he just got married and,GOD blessed me with another daughter she is 5.
Amjad Hussain. You probably live an other life, depending of other tradition. Does not mean it is bad, but I dont see there is "no respect" in this movie, but we are living in 2020, world change. 19 years old and live home and ask permision to go to the party is already a lot respect, even the argue, well, discuse about it. By the way, it is not GOD, its Karma, and as you are happy for your daugther, its GOOD karma. Gratz. ;) No hard feeling, but people are more free today, and respect is still often there, almost always there, just things change over years. Dont change you life, just accept things change, you sound like you doing good
I like your response but I am always careful to not give any spoilers to others who haven’t seen the movie. I’ll write general stuff to fill up the top 4 lines. After that the lines are hidden unless the reader clicks on ‘more’. Or I write ‘spoilers ahead’ and then hit the return key 4-5 times to write about the movie. Just a few tips on future movies for everyone.
@tracie: I was just going to watch it but you ruined the movie 🤦♀️ Can people please put ‘spoiler alert?. Give it some space & then type what you need to.
the mother kept pushing thank god. otherwise the lazy cops would have done nothing. I've heard of cases where families found their child's bodies since the cops too lazy to search 😠
wow! what a great ending to a sad story. I got teary when they found Joe alive. I was so happy that he wasn't found dead. This was an overall good movie. and i am happy it had no commercials. it's worth a watch
This was an awesome movie. I absolutely loved it.. cried a whole lot but in the end it was worth it. Am truly happy Joe was found and displays his trueness and stamina for survival. I'm pretty sure this is because of his mothers love.
In reality Joe underwent physio for 12 months before he was well enough to go back to work. His mother was not in the helicopter when he was found, it was the pilot and another police officer who located the car. The pilot, Jodeen Cassidy, spotted it from the air and managed to land close by and the officer with her went to the car wreck and found the boy alive. The story has been changed for dramatic effect. The movie portrays the family as somewhat dysfunctional but that could also be for dramatic effect.
Before i take seriously watching it, i read comments first and i was interested about comments so i restarted it. Thanks i got my tissues ready. Wow! This was the most beautiful real life story i've ever seen. I won't get tired watching this over and over. 7days of being missing, he was alive! And that's the wonderful part of this movie😍😊 "Never give up on yourself for your family"-- Joseph Spring 💕💕
Amen! I couldn’t have put it or said it with better words, true not one person prayed for him except in the end. And yes God is so good and merciful He cares for us all even if we don’t acknowledge him, which I don’t think is fair ? But again God is faithful and caring, compasionate and more!Thank Jesus for saving Jo.
This made me cry...for the love of his family he got a second chance in life...we should appreciate people and our parents we have in our lives..they worth it....thumbs up...thanks for the upload... xxx
It makes me cry to think about how stupid most people are during the teen years.. it's a wonder any of us make it to adulthood. Natural selection at work I suppose.
Just watched this and i cried a river. What a heartwarming tear-jerking movie! A mother's love is really selfless and unwavering, and her intuition is way far from the most modern radars or tarnsmitter. Thumbs up to all actors, and everyone in the production.
I cried a lot watching this movie. 😭😭😭My son hasn't spoken to me for about a year now. He moved and changed his ph number. I can't afford a private detective so I just pray and 😢 cry and pray and 😢 cry. I know he'll come home one day soon. I know my God takes care of him. I don't know how much more my 💔 can take. Children, love and respect your parents. Please don't hurt them😭😭😭 God bless and keep our children. Be blessed.
@@saraAhmed-nw3bl thku Sara. I truly believe he will, eventhough people around me can be so negative. I know in Whom I have believed and He will not leave me in shame. Gbu ❤
very emotional......im watching tv movies from few days...though they are low budget, they are good touching heart.....recently i saw- the piolts wife, devils pond, stranger beside me etc...
*Spoiler alert*: Boy, it is excruciating to watch this story play out. Truly heartbreaking.... and it's done in a suspenseful manner. Really good movie. Thanks for posting. Good performance from Kelly Rowan.
What heart wrenching movie. To have your child missing is a parents worst nightmare. Chatting online with someone you don't really know can get you killed. Social media in my opinion can be a curse and a blessing. In this movie social media was a clue to a much larger turn of events. Parents need to know their kids passwords and see what they're looking at online. When I graduated college computers just came out with a bang! When I tell my daughter that I used a word processor back then she just laughs. Be involved in your kids lives and really know them. Limit their access to social media. I give my daughter 2 hours at night before bed to text and FaceTime her friends and just be a teenager. Some may think I'm too strict and maybe I am but I've heard and seen too many stories like this one turn for the worst. I think kids today have to much freedom and don't always know how to handle it. Always hold your kids tight because they will spread their wings and fly when it's time. God Bless!✝️
Great movie! Great Family! The family refused to give up too! Good thing the helicopter pilot decided to go out anyway with the Mother to find him after the eighth day! Kudos to her too! Her entire life and job were totally on the line. Great movie! Thanks for posting it!
Laura W ! I SO agree with you, all the way and I’m a 72 year old grandma in the uk ! Parents, look after your children and trust them unto God daily, several times a day ! Learn BEFORE how dangerous the internet can be BEFORE something happens ! Personally, I hate that we have it at all ! Blessings to all xx
such an awesome movie!! this is a clear message to every kid that sometimes we dont even realize that how hard its for a mother and family to live in these kind of situations...but we as a kid always live on our own world... and its only his mother's blessings who saved him ...but its bad that it ends with never give up it should be .. its no one just my mother who saved me..anybody can give up in such harsh weather and long time missing..its a miracle that he survived by her blessings only.!!
An absolutely amazing story. Very well directed and structured. The mother was one courageous intelligent woman but the real hero was the helicopter pilot who defied authority and went on that last search. Terrific movie. Feel lucky to have found it.
They go off to Uni educate themselves and leave you a nd you just have to pray for their health and safety and wish them the best of life they can have ,My four children left 18 years ago after me looking after them all for 29 years ,big gap in age group I never did or ever will get used to them going life is just not the same without them. Your children are only lent to you for a while . . then they leave the nest . the loving home you provided for them and it is so hard . much harder than you can ever imagine
BC is a lot bigger than it looks like on the map of Canada. The Provence is disproportionately smaller on the map, than it really is IRL. I'm from Ontario and know apx how long it takes to get from point a to b.. But BC is different. The same distance on the map, is actually much further away than it looks..
lilli it was 300 to 400 miles he was driving. This is a true story. I lived in that area in the 90s. It’s absolutely beautiful and dangerous to drive. PeaCe&ReSPeCt, Shelley
@CC Greening I travel the same distance here in Europe twice a year. I understand is nice travelling by car but I don't have so many holiday and also I want to enjoy my time at the destination. The flight is 3 hours and it cost max 100$. Here in Europe it would be more expensive travelling by car. You can travel by bus and it is cheap too but it takes ages!
Just don't read the comment section till you're done. I usually just read one or two to see a few people say it was a good movie. Hate when people share too much info to spoil it for others.
Thank you for uploading such an outstanding and emotional movie---one that had a happy ending. It's hard to believe that it received any thumbs-down review. I guess some people just don't possess the capacity to appreciate good film making when they see it.
@@ThomasWilliams848403 Taking breaks and walks to get the circulation moving lets you drive more hours and feel far less knackered at the end of the day.
Joyce Ridgeway terrett I was driving one evening from South Carolina. Trucker, saw me swerving. I was so tired I could not see the lines on the road straight anymore, swerving, thank God, trucker saw me, helped me pull over and followed me off the ramp to a Walmart parking lot, told me to sleep for a couple hours, He stayed awake in his cab doing paperwork, Watching & Keeping me Safe. I’ll never forget that and I am forever grateful. PeaCe&ReSPeCt, Shelley
This movie kicked ass!! Great story and great acting!! Kept me involved with the characters and the ending was awesome. I actually was crying with the mother it was so sad and intense. Excellent !!!! Thanx !!!!
When asked if he had any advice for people, Jo said 'Never give up on yourself, or your family ..... and take adequate rest breaks when driving long distances.'
My favorite actor in that movie was the copter pilot. She defied her boss, and put her career in jeopardy in order to help that mom find her son. My favorite part was when they flew away with her mad boss on the ground yelling up at them. What's right is right!!!
Lloyd H ---- Except it's not the "actor" who made that decision...u do know that right!?.. Lol!! U said that your favorite "actor" was the copter pilote and then u start to name the list of decisions that was made on her part to help save the guy... Except that the actor is only doing what the "Actual" pilot did in Real life...! So it"s not the "actor" that you like so much if it"s the "actions" that you admired... That would mean that it"s the Real Pilot that you liked so much.... I mean you could of said " My favorite *part* of the movie was when ' so and so' happened...( which is what I think u probably meant).. That, Or..you also could have said. " My favorite Actor is the pilot cuz I saw her on another movie before and she was amazing..." ..
They have to train them how to respect elders as black do this is also common in arabs people they raise their own children badly at the end no respect. I support you on this
Some day I'll be able to say I never gave up. I read some of the comments and happy to say mother''s love appreciated with everyone - thanks everyone, I loved the movie.
Worst example of parenting I've seen portrayed in a film. Kids do what they want and parents just go along with it. Great example of a modern family I guess.
Very good movie, recommended to watch. The moral of d story is dun trust ppl u chat wif online, there r juz too many bad ppl out there. Juz b happy with ur frens n ur families who love u n always around u. Dun juz go n find thrills over d net, they r not real tho they seems veryyyy convincing! N nvr drive whn ur feeling sleepy! Stop n rest man!! 👍✌
Nichola Ayla Ashby King yep based on a true story the real Joe Spring survived though was badly injured this happened over 10 years ago do your research
