I’m having the SAME issue with my 06 trailblazer. This video really helped! It seems to be an intermittent problem. I noticed it was worse when I allowed my fuel tank to go below 80 miles. These guys are HEAVY so suspension is worn out. Only 150k mikes.

Good find! My question is when you turn that key to the on it should fire that gauge right up And that gauge should read 40 without even cranking that would definitely explain why it would crank awhile These aftermarket pumps don’t last ! I put one in a olds Ciera years ago My buddy said get a good one not a pep boys one! I said I’ll chance it and it failed 2 years later lol It’s odd that the pump isn’t priming but yet it builds some pressure when cranking 🤔🤔🤔

Ya nate, all these chevys have shity fuel pumps. Hell I've replaced 3 fuel pumps in my 95 Chevy Silverado Z71. Everytime it has a fuel dilvery problem i always look at the pump and filter first. This last time though i had to do a full TBI rebuild on the two barrel carb injector thing emgiger LOL worked good. Wood love to see you screw with a 2000ish dodge Durango at some point. Man i got 357, + out of mine with the full stock power train. Had the 4.7liter in it. (287)

My truck is doing this too. I’m in Florida and notice it happening when it gets under 50 degrees. So weird! It just started up and shut off immediately. Then it took forever but I got it to crank again and I’m driving now. Weird tho. it’s been doing it for a month now.

You may have a bad starter switch above the brakes in the passenger gef compartment

under the intake is what we call a spider, it leads to all the injectors, unfortunatly thats where the fuel pressure regulator is

That’s on a 4.3 I believe trailblazer well actually I do think some trailblazers did come with a v-6 never seen it myself but the spider problem was definitely an issue with the older v6 engines

@@juiced71 the gmt330 blazer with the trailblazer trim came with a v6, the gmt360 trailblazer never had a v6 engine just the 4.2 i6 /5.3v8 /6.0v8

No follow up video , i would like to know what you found because i just changed my fuel pump assembly and it has a little trouble starting that it didnt before , i been told to change the fuel preasure regulater when changing to new pump.

My Fuel filter was leaking some. Check fuel pressure with gauge if it drops something somewhere is loosing pressure in the system.

Aldo I cleaned the throttle body they get dirty sticky and the throttle gets stuck
