The old Richard Petty line they call it. Someone asked Petty one time why he liked it up there and he said he could go faster and it didnt hurt as much if you went up in the wall, most times you would just bump it cuz you were too close to hit hard or get out of shape. Teresa would have killed it anyway. Dale Jr and Kelley wanted ownership in the team but they were denied the request. It was her team anyway because she and Dale Sr owned the team.

She did good to keep it around as long as she did but she felt the DEI name was bigger than it actually was. As Tony Jr said, she felt like DEI didn't need Dale Jr.
