2006 vw Jetta 2.5 liter timing chain 

Yikes. I was looking a getting one of these with about 145000 miles. I guess I won't be.

The fact that vw engine do not drop down to remove like most modern front engine vehicles is astounding to me.

You took all that out and apart just for the timing chain lol? Yikes.

What part of the timing chain group fails? Was it the lower chain tensioner? Do you find it quicker ot remove the front end/rad assembly or does it need to come off for transmission removal? Thanks for the video
