Cables are easy to remove usually the clips can be pressed my a flat head screwdriver nice video ill be doing a seat extraction on a 2016 Toyota corolla
Helpful video. It could do with a mention of the socket size in mm and show if a combination spanner can also work. Some of us don't have all the tools. This saves multiple trips to the hardware store to get what is needed. many thanks
Thanks for the video. I'm in the process of removing the seats in my 2013 corolla to sound proof the entire floor. Doing a 3 layer treatment of butyl deadener, closed cell foam, and mass loaded vinyl on the floors, trunk, and all 4 doors
@@joyseekerarpit Sorry i'm just now seeing this. Yeah there was a dramatic difference. Dynamat biggest improvement is adding weight to the door, your door won't rattle while you drive or when wind hits it. Doors are often the biggest culprit of road noise
How do you clean carpet without removing carpet? In a bowl or small bucket, mix one part white vinegar with three parts water. Dip the bristles of the scrub brush into the solution and rub them into the carpet. Massage them into the fibers well (without fully saturating the carpet) and follow up with a cloth to help blot excess moisture.
I am so sorry for what happened to you and I am so glad that nothing bad happened to your child. God was with you and protected you. All glory belongs to him!
Thank you so much. This is the best video I have found after searching for 2 or 3 days. My question for you is, I want to leave the seat out and I'm totally removing the back seats also.. I am temporarily doing this for travel that I can put a plywood platform and a small mattress front to back where the front passenger seat was. I am 6' 2" and planning to travel across the United States from Tennessee to Arizona. With this virus I do not want to stay in motels. So basically, I'm turning my car into a tiny RV. I will have storage under the plywood. What happens to the connectors if I do not connect them back to the seat? Will this set off any alarms or malfunctions? When I return from the trip I can easily put everything back in. I will be staying in campgrouds and rest areas so I need to convert my little car to a camper. It is just me and my little dog. Thanks again for a very informative and well done video.
My friend regarding the rear seats I think you can remove them out of your car without any problem. Now for the front passenger seat there is a side airbag (and I do not know what other wiring goes under the front seat) and if you disconnect the connector then the warning light will appear on the instrument panel. Just try it and I wish you a good time on your vacation and be very careful where you want to go. Greetings from Greece.
@@YiannisPagonis Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly. By removing the seats and sleeping in the car I still have plenty of room for the minimal amount of camping gear so that I can cook and eat while traveling and also see some more of this country. I want to travel out there to see my son and his wife which I have not seen in 2 years. I also love your country I traveled there back in the early seventies. So I am much older than you now I am 72 years old. I would love to come back to Greece such an inspiring and beautiful beautiful place. You please stay safe and healthy also.
@@chiefonelung5362 I wish my friend that everything goes well in the trip you are planning to see your family after a long time and thank you very much for your kind words about Greece. Greece to know that it is waiting for you to come. I wish you all the best for you and your family. Have a beautiful, creative and blessed day.
@@YiannisPagonis No, not on my car. I don't see a yellow wire but there are 3 wires and to play it safe i disconnected the battery after 15 miniutes of the battery being disconneceted i remove the seats to take out the carper from the car i put the seats back and connected the wires to be safe just so i can move the car and park it i will have to remove the seats again when i install the carpet but rather be safe than sorry
But why? Use enough WD-40 (or similar) on the bolts and then you will see how easily the 4 bolts can be unscrewed. If necessary, tap the bolts with a hammer, after first placing a nut (14 mm) on the bolts. The bolt threads have rusted inside
