@@Darude453 Honda scored more points at the end of the season. Super Aguri wasn't that bad in 2007, it was one of the slowest midfield cars, like the Honda. Maybe faster than the STR.

look at the tyres - everyone was nursing their worn-out option tyres home. Takuma Sato hat used the time behind the safety car to switch from primes to options for one lap and back(!). he was dead last when the race was re-startet, but with better tyres, he could cut through the field.

But even if that were the case, assuming nothing else changed, he would've still lost the championship anyway, as Kimi had more wins (6) than him (4) that season.

No. He was not talented enough. Button mopped the floor with him at honda and he was so bad they got rid of him despite how much the japanese people loved him. They had to bring in super aguri because the japanese were so angry buy tet they still dropped sato because he would have 1 good race a season and make dangerous moves crashing into other cars like schumacher in spa and at suzuka
