@@adrew7799We bought a 2005 Chevy Malibu LS 2.2 for 700 dollars with 50,000 miles. It started then shut off. Turned out it was a bad PCM, but when it started and stayed on finally it started smoking blue smoke. Now we are waiting to hear from our mechanic if it has a blown engine. We bought it to flip and now it might need a new engine 🤡. Just telling this story to be weary of these cars but if you know that it was taken care of then maybe get it. We don't know if it was abused or babied so we don't know if it failed on its own or was beat to death.
@@adrew7799 Update: New mechanic said we have no compression on cylinder 4. This means a piston ring or something messed up and now definitely needs an engine 🤡. Idk how you do that to a car with 50k but it did hit a deer. I think you'd probably be fine as long as you take care of it. Beware of the transmission too!
Do not buy this car unless you are looking fo buy a new transmission that does not work well and that you cant drive in the rain because it will turn off on you. My mom has one at 135000 miles and it wont start. trust me you do not want to get this this car
It wants to turn off and jerks ALOT and really BADLY plus whenever you want to shift and start to 95 percent of the time it goes BANG a really bad metal smashing metal or a metal wire thats really tight is stretched and then let go all of a sudden
