How I fixed my tailgate handle on my 2007 chevy silverado. Having an issue with my tailgate not staying shut, I was able to remove the handle, clean it, and reinstall it back to functioning condition. If you do order one, make sure you order the right style since there are 2 styles for the 2007 chevy silverado. You may also want to order a couple of replacement clips for the arms. The only thing I was unsure of during this process is if the bottom bolt screws into the cover or not. My cover seemed to just pop into the bolt when I reinstalled it, but it may have been stripped or something though it still stays on very tight and I have had no issue out of it. The latches on the side are also pretty simple to get to.Although I didn't have to fix or replace them, I just felt it would be informational on how to remove and replace them and I was also curious my self on how it all worked.
Hope this video helps you out.
