Hey since its broken...you can Try to reach the level that pulls the actuator to release the latch.. Inside panel you can try to unscrew then pop out the other handle panel and reach the lever as well!!!

I was in the process of doing this and the door closed and now I can’t get it open with no door handles

Pull the door cover off and then pull open the lever's the door should get open.

Was just saying don't need to do all that there is a lil whole to get the bolt out for the lil side piece of beside the handle and the handle just slides to the side and pulls out changed both mine yesterday
