2007 KTM 250 SX-F - First start up after winter 

Maybe turn off the other bike before starting it?? Smh

i have a ktm rxc 400 and where it's cold here i go and start her up about every week or so just to keep her alive, and hear it run. nice bike :)

I always do the double pump of the throttle on mine too help alot when starting cold. I have the same year and it was a pain to start when I first got it cause I didnt know the proper technique of starting a ktm thumper.

I have a 09 sxf 250. And its a beast.

I don't have any special tricks for starting when its hot. Mine starts on first or second kick without pushing hot start lever and without opening throttle when its hot. But every time after crash I use hot start lever and I have to kick it more times as usual before its start.

I do it because 4 strokes with carburetors have acceleration pump. So every time when my engine is cold I pull the full throttle few times before start and then I start on idle RPM. :)

At least turn off your friends bike before the video. We can only hear the other bike.,

How do you start it when its hot? any tips?

do not accelerate before the start this is not a 2 stroke

I wouldn't call it FIRST START UP id call it 6TH START UP AFTER WINTER.
