I love the 420 my dream boat ... with some updates . Spend some loot and go all 12 volt reefer / AC drop a good set of lithiums freshen up all the seals and ball valves get some back ups systems freshened up and a boat you will keep for life . I had an idea for a while now about taking one of the peek cabins and converting to a hydroponics bay and trying to grow vegetables on board anyone have thoughts ???
I have a question not related to the video is that ok? Why can’t you go as fast as you can on a sail boat I hear about having too much speed and I don’t understand why they wouldn’t build a boat that keep up with the sails or am I missing something. Pleas please and thank you mr Sharp

Wiley, I really appreciate all your informational videos! However, this one just played an ad, and that really rubs me the wrong way. On your other videos, by all means, make money on your hard work. But when you're videoing a boat you're making a commission on the sale of, an ad seems really... wrong. I don't post on RU-vid, but I believe you have control on a per-video basis which ones have ads; please turn off the ads on your videos selling specific cats. Thanks, and really, keep up the great videos!
@@Justwantahover I get that most bays have cross currents especially at tide transitions, but dude 20 to30 horsepower diesels are the normal range for boats smaller than 50 feet,now a sailboat used for something clandestine in nature would need a lot of horses to move heavy weight beyond or at hullspeed.
I wonder how much sail boat experience you have. It’s a decent review but some terminology is not really appropriate to a sail boat. Who uses terminology like ‘weather deck’ on a small boat? It is more pertinent on a ship.
