Very informative about the survey process. Never take delivery before having a survey from someone you trust. A buyers surveyor is essential whether it's new or used, especially if it's new. Production cats are profit oriented. Fast everything. Mistakes will be made. I've had issues with new production cats, but a proper survey before handing over has saved me in the long term. A (gently) used cat has (ideally) had any problems ironed out from when it was new. NEVER take delivery without a surveyor you trust.
