@@fabianrocha9924yeah but it easily could have been, a few years prior to this there was a pretty similar crash on the same track just a corner before which was fatal. It was pure luck that this one wasn't fatal
Ernesto is a real decent type, he had a puncture at Donington and slid into the gravel, my young son asked him for an autograph and he was really nice to him and wrote "To my friend Joey", he won two extra fans that day.
What a stupid crash between Glock and Zuber. It's not just because they both made poor starts, they were team mates. The one thing that you don't do is crash with your team mate. As for Viso, I think "miraculous" is the perfect word that describes his survival from such a terrifying accident
There's no such thing as miracles. There is, however, science and technology. Had he been in the same accident 10 years prior to this he would've certainly died. HANS was a big improvement in racing history
@@HDX_47 what are you on about. HANS doesn't really come into play here. And it is a miracle/lucky he didn't land helmet first onto the wall or topside first into the bridge support pier.
No, the halo could've saved or prevented injuries to a driver in other accidents, but one misconception is, Viso's injury or Hubert's death still would've been the same with or without the halo. That doesn't mean the halo is not good though, it is a remarkable invention, and is important in motorsport nowadays.
@@sheckwesfartcompilation5348 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AYkGjUHstKY.html FIA looked at visos crash and said themselves the halo would have helped. “misconception”
@@sheckwesfartcompilation5348 maybe for the current trucks in F1 it's needed. The only life the halo has saved is Grosjean, BUT a lighter car would have just bounced off. However in the 1997 Nurgburgring F3000, Morelli had a failure in his car and went through both a tyre barrier and an armco barrier. He was only out for the rest of the season due to foot injury. Before F1 cars were trucks, there was HANS, there was the headrest, there were much higher cockpit sides, track design had improved significantly, etc. they weren't stupid in the early 2010s, clearly the halo is only here because the cars weigh so much and I blame the hybrid system for that
