Any of you that have followed the channel for a while know that I'm a die hard Porsche guy and this might be my favorite Porsche of all. The 997 GT3RS.1 is an exceptional sports car. The tone. The handling. The styling. It's still raw and untamed yet sophisticated. A pure drivers car.

I know PDK transmissions can do the shifting far faster and more efficiently but to me, there is so much more soul, such a "hand and glove" connection between the car and the driver (especially in a Porsche) with 3 pedals and manually shifting gears! It is symphonic!!

Crazy. This video popped up in my feed, I watched it 2 years ago when it came out. However, the difference of today is I have a white 997.1 GT3 RS sitting in my garage. Greatest 911? I think it's definitely up there. Cheers!

The reasons he loves the porsche is the same reason why I love the sn95 mustang. Albeit it's no where near the refinement of a porsche. It was said that the chief engineer of the sn95 mustang was inspired by the European market.

Love these cars I have a 2015 with 8,000 miles and love it…… reading threw the comments and I jus don’t get why so many people have to comment on the value….. the thing I love most about Porsche is you can get in them and drive them hard…. And have no worries they love it…..

I grew up with musclecars and Corvettes but these things are just perfection. Gotta be a bit of a bummer when the ride is over. It's like when you're eating ice cream and you get sad when you eat the last bite lol.

Amazing car that's as beautiful today as when new, but do yourself a favor and change out those yellowing rock guards on the rear quarters. Car is way to nice to not replace those.

I am also a fan of Porsche 911s in all their forms. When I'm at a track day I love to see them run hard especially when a good driver is in one! But I don't understand the garage queen mentality of having such a capable car and not using it? You only live once.....get out and drive!

Not a "high 2s, edging on $300k" car. Maybe if it was RS Green, and even then that would be a stretch. Realistically this is a $200k car.

Very strange.. Where's the black wheels, cf buckets and cage which are std on the 7.1 RS. Also, the car never came in white... Only black, silver, orange and green

@@brianhimmelman420 lol... 997.1 GT3 vs RS main differences is really only the lightweight flywheel, no sunroof, rear decklid, front spoiler and a bit wider. Mostly looks. Engine is the same too. The 997.2 GT3 vs the RS is a completely different story.

hopefully someone can explain this to me because ive been trying to do some searching and its been extremely unsuccessful. so as far as im aware, the 2007/2008 GT3 RS had side stripes with "gt3 rs" in the stripes. (exact style of the 2003-2005 GT3 RS). when I was younger my dad took me out to see some Porsches at he loves them to death. I remember seeing a few different GT3 RS models but the ones that stuck out to me were 3 in particular: White w/ red stripes, Silver w/ red stripes and one in white w/ light blue stripes.. these were my absolute favourite GT3 RS models for years but now when I search for them, its IMPOSSIBLE to find ANY photos with one with red or blue side stripes.. the only pics I have found on google and forums are black w/ orange stripes, orange w/ black stripes, green w/ black stripes and silver w/ orange or black stripes.. so are the red side stripes just really uncommon?..
