A 2007 Range Rover Sport automatic with a fault that causes the transmission to shift into neutral when stopped. In this video we adjust the shifter cable under the car so that the problem is resolved.
Note that this probably is likely caused by the shifter linkage seizing up or becoming stiff from rust. Its a cheap part; Atlantic British does a kit for $40 (plus about $4 shipping if you live in the US) so I recommend changing the part. Your shifter will be a lot easier and smoother to move after the linkage is replaced. This video doesn't show the replacement but if you are under there trying to adjust the cable you've already got the hard work done. Adjusting the shifter cable will just buy you time.
Warning! Its not my fault if you some how screw this up. I'm just a guy that likes to fix things himself. Also, you may get a face full of black stuff and end looking like me in this video. No idea where that came from but its dirty under there!
