Customer states..my check engine light keeps flashing, now it's remaining on. Lately the vehicle has been burning a lot of petrol and stuttering intermittently. I visited a local shop to get it scanned and they said that the front O2 sensor has to be replaced. It work ok but as I drove off the check light came back on. The shop thought that the one that they replaced was had a fault, I purchased another. It worked for a few hours after the code was cleared, now the light has returned. This is when I decided to try another shop to get the vehicle checked. The shop brought it to me seeing that they didn't understand why the light keeps coming on, so we decided to use this as a diagnosing case study where they can learn how the steps in diagnosing this fault.
