Visually stunning and mechanically sound, Yamaha's trick new "roadster motard" creates its little niche in the market. You get a short wheelbase, low seat height, focused centre of gravity and forward-biased riding position for hyper-manoeuvrability, excellent rider feedback and excellent traction. So MT-03 is perfect for extreme riding; it doesn't matter whether you're doing it on urban streets or mountainside hairpins. Extremely reliable engine & a torque curve to make you grin all day!

Its a great bike. I had one for a couple years, its perfect for the city or twisty roads. Very light handling, super agile and sharp. It's comfortable and has a high sitting position, really nice sound even with the stock exhaust - pops and burbles on decel once it's warmer up. Great acceleration up to 100-120km/h, top speed over 150. Super reliable engine, easy to maintain. Not great on the highway, feels twitchy with a passenger. Small fuel tank range. You need to remove the gas tank in order to get to the battery. Overall quite good. Compared to FZ6 and Honda Hornet which I rode, I'd rather take this MT03. MT07 blows this out of the water though, and it's not much more expensive.

Those aren't upside-down forks, the szr 660 has upside-down forks, excellent bike by the way.

Does anyone know if you can tune it for better performance? Concidering it's a 660cc with only 35 kw's (i know its only 1 cilinder) i thought maybe there is more to get out of it

Nice bike. What is the exact height of the top of the cane in relation to the table? The manual states that the top of the inner tube should be aligned with the top of the top bracket. But I've realised that it doesn't come from the factory like this. I'd be grateful if you could reply.

@@zanderzim388 this blue is not great. I had one just like it. i'd recommend looking for a white one if you can find it. i think it's the best of the available colorways. i test rode one with akra pipes. i regret going for the blue one instead (cause it was much cheaper)
