Thanks for posting it. I just removed both heads and they are off to the machine shop. I had trouble with that coolant assembly there was a little hidden bracket that wouldn’t let me move that manifold towards the battery box. After I found it I was able to use that wood and hammer method and I got it all out.
You did a fantastic job struggling to take that thing apart. Now if you succeed in putting it back together to where it's in tip-top running condition, you will absolutely be worth your weight in gold. I don't know much about highly involved engine disassembly but the first thing I would have done is remove hood - especially when working alone. Otherwise, very interesting, informative and enjoyable.
