i'm not sure how many are in use, but I have seen a contractor here in Michigan that uses what might be a older version. It uses a separate power unit and is run via hydraulic lines too it. Mostly where might be too swampy too get a regular machine into. Very neat seeing the videos.
I operate a jt30 all terrain and there fun when you figure out what your doing out here in Arizona we got a lot of rock so it some what a pain in the ass when you drill into rock then a few rods later your in dirt so you have to pull out a put the other housing on love it ahaha
Wow! That does sound like a pain Gary. Sounds like you're pretty experienced and skilled though, which makes you a hot commodity, the industry needs more skilled drillers like you. Thanks for sharing!
Hello Carlos Tena here ,I myself love to drill as well I operate a 20/22 Vermeer. I’ve worked in Utha west Texas and east Texas. Looking for new adventures so if anyone needs an Operador let me know .
ok i run one of those drills and how you steer it is that there is a controller and i mean its like a hand held controller that has a joystick in the middle to maneuver the drill and how you pitch the drill there are levers just beside the control panel that lets you pitch the drill at any angle and there are levers to put the feet down to get a even better pitch
Let say something. Please.dont rotate the rods on the green grippers cause you finish the grip and the rods will slide forward and you will have to constantly be changing them or hooking up to then again and again
Hey Tony, there are controls at the back of the machine to be able to move the machine around. One smaller rigs you can't drive them around from the operators station.
What are the ditch witch capabilities performing directional boring along a curve? I'm trying to understand how contractors install utilities when approaching a cul-de-sac.
Hey Rajesh! Thanks for watching our video. Are you talking about driving and positioning the rig or do you mean as your drilling how do you steer the rod?
Hi David. Thank you for reaching out. This is quite an old video so this machine is not available. To check out current inventory visit www.mtiequip.com
Dear Sirs , I saw a video of you And I realized that the drill turns but the drill bit pipe does not turn, what equipment do you use before the drill bit?
Hi Antonio! This is a rockmaster. It's a special housing and bit that is utilized by All Terrain machines that specialize in drilling through rock. The drill pipe features an inner and outer rod. The outer part of the housing is shaped to help steer while the inner pipe turns the tri-cone bit.
