Check list or steps from start to end is very important. Video like this is awesome cause your problem could end after the 3rd step and fixes your problem. Great video
Thanks man, you save me big bucks, I tried to change just one coil that was detected bad in my case, it decreased the vibration by about 70%, but when I changed all four of them, it was smooth and eventually the check engine light goes off. So, I believe it's advisable to just buy the multipack as he suggested (4 ignition coils), because once one starts failing, there is all possibility that the others will soon follow. Also, that’ll save you time, more cash and prevent further damage to other components with time.
The info is a bit confusing. First he says he swapped the coil packs and the problem still continued ....then at the end he says swapping the coil packs corrected the issue.
When he first say swap coil packs he mean like change coil number 1,2,3,4 to coil number 4,3,2,1 (dont have to be the same order as I put them). That basically means he didn't change them he just switched them around. Which is crazy to do because if it didn't work right in one coil slot its not gone work right in the other. The only time I would do that is if I had a scanner and the scanner says p0301 I would switch 1 with 2,3,or4. Start it up again and check for code again if the last number changes then I know its that coil that I switched.
My 07 Sebring 2.4L starts, but once it reaches operating temperature, it suddenly dies. I start it in the driveway, let it get to normal temp, then it just goes off. Starts again but shuts off much sooner since it’s already hot. Changed cam and crank shaft sensors. No luck. Coils are good and I just swapped the spark plugs but still no change. Ready to push this thing into a lake.
I change out my spark plugs change out my coil packs change that my fuel injectors changed out my map sensor still doing the same thing multiple misfire
