I love how horse racing and in particular the grand national have such great meaning to us. You can always remember with Great detail the day you had the winner. Such a nice story of you and your friend Jim. God bless. Memories are all we have in the end. 😊

@@andrewnelis9791 i remember that day it was St. Patrick’s day 2006 cant remember what I backed but I didn’t have the winner I know that. That was a great day out. I love when the gold cup falls on paddy’s day. You’re welcome. Hopefully we can pick the winner at Aintree in a couple weeks!
My 3rd grand national winner this 👍🏼 even had Timmy Murphy's autobiography later that year as a xmas present, a great read particularly when Timmy recounts his winning ride....
@@Savagejoe_exp At the time of it being my 3rd winner, the others were Earth Summit (1998) & Hedgehunter (2005). Did add 3 more winners towards the end of the 2010s mind 😉
I love hearing about which National winners people backed. I've had a fairly decent record over the years. I backed Red Rum every time he ran, so there's three winners straight off the bat. Then I picked Lucius, Ben Nevis, Corbiere, Earth Summit, Silver Birch, Ballabriggs, Neptune Collonges, and Tiger Roll when he first won it. As for this year, I might back whatever Rachael Blackmore is riding. The way she is going, she could be the first female rider to win.
