That’s all you really need with that type of car. You don’t really want it to be extremely loud but it’s always you guys do excellent work.

I had to send it on that last one, but happy as hell with the way it came out. Also, the abs/esc fault light on is due to wheel speed sensors before anyone hops on that comment train 😂 they’re all getting done this week. Only 69,000 miles on this land barge.

Straight pipe sound like a businessman who knows how to party

I have the same exact car. Removed the front resonators and put my X pipe there (closer to the engine is best for performance). I took out the rest and have it straight piped but I re-used the OEM AMG tips to keep it looking factory. Sounds great but still quiet. On the highway you can barely tell it's only slightly louder but these cars are super insulated and have double pane glass which makes them very quiet inside. When you said "muffler delete" you should have said resonator delete because the factory mufflers were still on the car. I also got mine tuned by OE Tuning. 91 Octane (I live out west and that's the highest grade we can get) performance tune with exhaust burble so when I get on it and let off it pops a bit or if I manually downshift it, it will pop and burble.

That sounds great, no more than that is needed.... nice sound level... after further review, I like the str8 pipe better.......

i have s500 straightpipes too on my youtube channel and is it louder than yours check it out but i dont know why my s class is louder hmm🤔

To me it sounds like a 6banger there at first, i guess thst was before muffler delete? But now its over 100 decibels it sounded better but still raspy? Hppimg to get a CLK550 with the 5.5 V8. Im thinking remove muffler and resignator and maybe put in a pair of one chambers in there

You're showing muffler delete at the bottom of the screen and then you say you have to take the mufflers off so what is it what's installed what's going on???

if you have the ability to code mercedes you could also activate the SoundDesign in the ECU and then it will burble when you let of the gas.

Straight pipes sounds so much better on the s class 550 than muffler delete 🔥

It sounds good but IMO it doesnt fit the car - its a luxury car, it shouldnt be that loud

I think I’m going to do that on my car. Already had it tuned by rentech it’s pushing extra 140hp. I love this car. So comfortable and fast.
