I really love my Pontiac G6 2006 they're good cars I don't see nothing wrong with them it's a shame they don't make them anymore I wish they would bring them back I love my car and I enjoy it

I've had mine since 2015 I ain't got a lot of miles on it but it's still going no major work wrong with it, I don't know why they did that that was so stupid listen to file bankruptcy I just called them to lose Buick General Motors plus Hummer and Saturn Oldsmobile has pretty much been gone a long time but just sucks. My first car was a 2003 Oldsmobile alero... great car... then it got totalled and now I have a 2006 Pontiac g6 gt and I love it! Both are super fun cars to drive.
My mom has my old car which is a 2002 Pontiac Grand am 4 cylinder with 260,000 miles on it. Just need to replace the catalytic converter and that's it for the car, still runs great. I now have a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix base.
Well I got it 2006 or 7 I've had mine since 2015 and it still running like a champ so they can last a long time if you take care of it and make sure you get a tune up and oil changed on it keep the maintenance up on it can last for quite a long time if not longer car has I blew 80 some thousand miles 1 and 90 some thousand still goes good luck with your Pontiac.👍👍😎✌✌
I love my pontiac G6 2008, the only thing that bugs me is my sensors for my tires don’t work and my check engine light never goes off. We have taken it to many shops and seen by a lot of mechanics restarting the programs but it comes back on a few days later. Runs amazing with 125,000 miles with no problems at all other than the sensors!!
i have a 2005 ,except a few details pretty much the same.almost 4 years and nothing major so far so i would buy another one if i needed to, only thing i don't like about it the automatic lights come on to early and makes it hard to see the radio since it dims when lights come on
I have a 07 g6 love it bought it for 2 grand 190k miles runs great had it for a while now, minor exhaust leak ppl say it sounds like I straight pipped it tho 🤣
Miles... Which is 122k km who knows, my last gm car would light up the engine light when the battery was going weak. It thought it had a bunch of other issues, replaced the battery and it turned off the codes never came back.
My family bought a 2008 G6 base in 2018 as well as a ram but the G6 had this problem where as when someone started it, it would make a rattling sound and when you turned on the AC it stopped… and the right signal didnt stop automatically you had to turn it off. My brother complained it was ungodly slow.. but my mom took it on a 7 hour trip and she passed nearly everyone.. we sold it when my mom said its gonna be mine then sold it a month later 🫠
Pontiacts are great. But since they have gone out the door, I don't like them as much. I wonder what the Firebird would actually look like today. Those camaro conversions look like a joke.
Oh interesting. I have basically the same car, but with factory cruise and 3.6 v6, my wheels looks different. I don't have mud flaps like this one. It's pretty generic, but it's cheap.
If it's going to have the EcoTec 4 cylinder engine, beware of oil consumption. The piston rings wear out prematurely and oil slowly gets burned. Timing chain guides are another thing to make sure were replaced. Make sure the brake-switch recall was taken care of as well. Other than that, these aren't bad cars as long as they were treated well over the years.

Horrible car.. Surprised if u get past 100k on it without any major repairs. There is a reason an accord or camry of the same year cost twice as much as this Pontiac.
David You're absolutely incorrect buddy. Mines has 121,000 miles and is still going strong. Have never had a single issue that warranty hasn't covered and the minor malfunctions I have had are ones that every car has over time. A lot of people truly underestimate Pontiac. I once did until purchasing one and it has been one of the best cars I've owned hands down!
