So after I replaced the ignition switch, key solenoid, and neutral safety switch, I drove for a couple thousand miles and it seemed to have fixed the problem. But, NOPE! IT'S BACK! 😩
i did a video on how to program your old keys to that new pcm for the torrent the new pcm don't recognize the old key so when you reprogram the old keys to it its in sync with the ecm and pcm on another note that can problem could be is the batter terminals there to corroded to make a good contact try to clean it with a wire brush real good
@@WagsAutomotive ok this might sound crazy but this was one of my problems look at the back of the engine near the manifold and see if that harness wire laying on it I noticed mine was and it was grounded itself out which was shortening the PCM out
@@WagsAutomotive I had a similar no-start issue. The key would intermittently turn (and the car would start) or it wouldn't. I thought it was something with the column/keyswitch. In the end, the key itself was worn enough that it would work some of the time and not others. I had a new key cut from the VIN and problem solved 100%.
Run a ground wire to the side of the ecm thru one of the bolt holes or just touch the body of the ecm with a wire coming from the negative battery terminal……thank me later
