So if only one plug looks lean does that suggest possible inlet manifold leak or obstructed injector or what ? Main take from changing plugs looked to be the oil leaking onto them - cam or rocker cover gasket ?
What size extension are you using? I attempted to change my plugs today and found my extension which is over all about 2 and 3/4's inches is too short. Came in a 107 piece Hyper Tough SAE and Metric set. The ratchet touches engine and dip stick. I Thought it was a standard 3 inch extension but it's not.. or Is this size what they call a 3 inch extension? I think a 6 inch would be too long.
Does this era of smart only have three spark plugs?. Many years back I had a 2002 smart fourtwo & it had 2 spark plugs per cylinder. Awesome little cars. 😀👍
@@adampotter5763 All of the 451 models Smart Fortwo Passion Coupe/Cabrio which were from 2008 to 2015 have the same engine and it's a 3 Cylinder 1.0L MFI DOHC 061 CID. 70 HP.
