No weapon malfunctions? I don’t believe the soft stats were set to typical. I only joke, nice to see all NATO infantry are essentially the same in terms of firepower.

Would be interesting if we ever got something like the Polish, Bulgarian, Hungarian, or Romanian forces modeled in CM on the NATO side. Interesting mix of eastern and western small arms and ammunition. Usually unique but familiar armor to the Soviets with some upgrades, and more unique aircraft or helicopter support.

@@wheneggsdrop1701 I agree, I'd like to see redfor factions too. In fact imagine the CM games merging together so they won't just have more content but also more modules So imagine CM Cold War and Afghanistan merged. Along with Shock Force 2 and Black Sea merged (so like imagine different periods kinda like how Wargame Red Dragon does through 1975-1995 if I remember correctly). In fact imagine upgrading the engine to allow mod support

The UK rifle section is such a frustrating force in SF2. They seem to only shoot automatic or burst and each riflemen only has 165 rounds

In my experience they will conserve ammo past a hundred meters or so, or set to a light engage order, but if they open up at close the section will dump pretty much it's entire ammo load in 90 seconds. Great for winning the firefight but not so good for sustain... Try and keep the battle taxis close or load up with extra rounds before deploying

That's interesting- IIRC SF2's British infantry sections carry more ammo than almost any other squad in the game

@@usuallyhapless9481 Yup, they are Iirc the sections with the most ammunition, around 3700 rds base, while the least ammount of ammunition is carried by the US 9-man section, with 1870 rds. Comparatively, US marines carry 2700 rds, which for 13 men and 3 minimis runs out FAST
