The up-then-down ’08 Redskins pulled off a historic upset deep in the heart of Texas, defeating the previously unbeaten Cowboys, 26-24, in their final match-up at Texas Stadium. Washington topped Dallas for the fifth time in seven tries (It’s true! Haven’t seen THAT in a while!), with a dominant 17-point second quarter and plenty of second half ball hogging. Even so, the Cowboys almost rallied, but the pivotal on-side kick slipped through their fingers (much to the chagrin of Jerry Jones - please, enjoy that moment!)
