That cat is something else, one of the best dogs I've ever had.🤣 He has made a few appearances but he seems cat-like indifferent to when I ask him to be on the schedule.
Just wondering what if you ended up figuring out what was causing the truck to run bad? Mine has same issues replaced the bank 1 sensor still throwing the same code and no change in performance. Suggestions?
The owner actually traded it in before we got it completelu dialed in. We threw about every part at it we could but found some suspect wiring that someone in the past had messed with. That's when the owner decided he'd had enough and chose a different path. Have you had yours scanned on a bigger machine to see if there's anything you can't see?
@Yellow Jacket Garage I have and they couldn't find anything. Worked fine until I had to replace the fuel pump control module, after that never worked the same and now it runs pretty lame.
@BUZZ maybe check the pins to make sure one didn't get bent. I've seen that happen more times than I care to. I've actually had pins squash right down and not connect. Do you have a fuel pressure gage you can connect to the fuel rail? Low fuel pressure may be something to look into also. Keep me in the loop on what you find out.
I was but the problem came back as an evap code. The knock sensor did clear though. We chased codes on that truck for a while, I think it threw just about every code possible. Owner decided to sell it in the end.
Nice vid. I've stopped saying this should be easy or a quick video. It's bit me in the rear side way too many times. LOL. I got a good laugh about half way down the driveway with the socket extensions. I do the same thing. No idea why I have yet just go buy real long extensions. :-). Find a friend with small hands. Bahahahaha
I've been trying to toss a little humor in where I can.🤣 I have longer extensions somewhere too, suppose I need to make another trip to the tool section...damn the bad luck. Thanks for watching!
I have a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali Xl with the 6.2 but my gas cap is black and I can’t find anywhere we’re it says I can run flex fuel through it. I want to find out how can I add it to my truck thanks.
Hello, it should have a yellow cap and/or fuel types on a label inside the gas door if it's a flex fuel vehicle. Also, there should be an RPO code decal in your glove box that lists all the RPO's your Yukon left the factory with. If you need help with it, take a pic of that decal and email it to me at: yellowjacketgarage@gmail.com and I'd be more that happy to help you decode it. Thanks for the question and for watching/subscribing.😎
I think we ended up replacing about every sensor in the system, just not on camera. The owner decided to sell it before I got to run through some other stuff with it. This was more of a see what we can do since the vehicle had so many issues.
