I never saw it before but John Stamos looks too old to play Conrad. By the way, I'm only here because some of you are aware that NBC has chosen Bye Bye Birdie as next year's musical which will be co-produced by and co-starring Jennifer Lopez.
jasminne mcdonald You heard me right. Jennifer will be producing alongside Neil Meron & Craig Zadan who brought us the previous NBC live musicals including this December's Hairspray LIVE with a new script by the legendary Harvey Fierstein.
awwww...I thought John was gonna be conrad birdie...given his rock persona on full house, he would have been awesome. He's young enough looking too...but I guess I can see him as Dick Van Dykes character Albert.
John stamos, you clearly need to do more musical theatre and less TV :D great job. And yes, it's supposed to be a little awkward. His character is a grown momma's boy trying to cheer up a bunch of teen girls :) context is important :)
Okay, one year after this was on Macy's, my school performed Bye Bye Birdie. The year after we did Willy Wonka, they started coming out with new Wonka candy commercials. I'm hoping this means a Once Upon a Mattress revival within the next year in accordance to this year's show?
I've never seen a broadway show before, I watched this on TV, a little advise, when on TV wear looser pants. From 2:47 on I felt things got a little too personal between me and uncle Jesse. I'm just sayin'
i wonder how old those girls are cus a lot can pull off being about 15. (i know from experience they usually use roughly 20 year olds for teenage roles) fair play to them.
