Great starting point. My 2010 Rogue AC compressor isn't turning on and so I'm working on troubleshooting if it's the compressor itself or a bad relay or fuse. Will definitely be using the pointers here.
Im in the same boat, what did you find? I got high pressure on low side, so its not a leak. im wondering if its just the clutch gone bad. ill be looking at fuses later today
Did ya figure it out? Been reading that when the coolant is too low the compressor won't engage so u can recharge it. So u have to manually engage the clutch. I have been having a hard time finding the low pressure relay switch to do this.
I just replaced my 09 compressor and my air is cold one minute and then hot. I noticed the clutch for the compressor keeps engaging and cutting off. I’m wondering if you have any idea what I could do I’m tired of this heat
I have a 2009, Nissan Rogue not charging brand new battery, but alternator is outputting 14 volts. Beside possible bad wiring is there a alternator fuse?
2010 rouge heat/ac blower heat and air fine. The lower speed dail control won't turn off unless the motor is turned off. Also turned right to speed up or left to slow it down there's no change it blows on constant high. The blower itself is making a grinding sound off and on . Help don't know here to start
Recently I noticed a delay of ac starting up. I checked all. I could not find that 'relay'. Now I know. Thank you. Now, about my ac, with all on, the ac has on three occasions delayed as long as five minutes before engaging. I am considering one of those reset all programs. As the seat belt light started flicking about the same time. One thing I'll add is that the battery died. I recharged it three times as it tested OK. Yet I replaced battery. That is when it began. Also brake & alt light flicked once after battery replaced. *I disconnected new battery, turned ignition on for approx 12 minutes, reconnected. Seat belt flicks & ac act up. Any idea? Thank you in advance. It is a 2008 nissan rogue w/ 175000 original miles.
My 2011 Nissan Rogue the AC works sometime. When the the AC is working the clutch is engaged, and when it is not working the clutch is not engaged. there is air blowing whether the AC work or not. Please advice.
Hi i have issue on nissan T31, the magnetic clutch doesn't engage, both fans are not turning also. However the clutch and fans are working during IPDM self test, what could be the issue?
Question. 2009 Rogue recently had oil in spark plugs which were replaced along with ignition coil set. Valve cover is coming and will be replaced. Car still boggs at times. AC started to have issues that turn on and off. Will the AC reset itself or u think there is a compressor issue.
I replaced a burned fuse from under hood. I get air, but not cold air. I guess I’ll check/gauge for frigerant? When I turned “nozzle” I get pressure release (air or frigerant??) what else can I check?

After I replaced the compressor , the new compressor clutch it was working when I was charging the system and then it stopped I gave the clutch direct power it worked, I checked the fuse is good , fans is working. Note : the clutch it was kicking in and out every 30 seconds when I was charging the system with freon
Quick question sir, same problem power at ac fuse, freon good, checked for power and ground @ ac none present, checked power @ pressure switch had very dim light assume the 5v reference so yes on power? Would the pressure switch stop power to the compressor?
Nissan rogues also have an ambient temperature sensor in front of the radiator and also an inside air conditioner temperature sensor at the bottom of the console in the middle that go bad
Before I had my original AC compressor replaced I've noticed that the vehicle wasn't blowing much cold air. It get cold then warm again. I've had the AC service twice, my rogue is a 2013. That new AC compressor malfunction a year after it was replaced same thing with the 2nd AC compressor its not blowing much cold airm
Hello I have a 2014 Nissan Rogue the air stopped working and when I took it to a mechanic they said that I needed another blower motor. I had the blower motor Replaced and come to find out that is not the problem that says something keep blowing out my fuses could that be a relay problem or do you think something else
Bro am having the same problem no power at the compressor to the wire to the compressor but the fuse for the ac relay is good I went to a shop they fill it up still didn't come on no power
I didn't test drive the Nissan Rogue...... I was informed their transmissions are CVT... I ended up getting a Mitsubishi Outlander LS.... Worst mistake I ever did! Or perhaps the Lying Mechanic who screwed up my car when he did a Tune Up.... The Alternator Was going out the seller said he was going to replace it come to find out he used a rusted one from a junk yard... I've only had this Vehicle 18 days.... I wish I could have a mechanic type friend to help me out.... I don't have any money left to fix the issues... The dude who did the tune up left the dipstick and I can't find a replacement.... 😢
CVT transmissions on a Rogue are trash. Never get one from Nissan. And majority of the problems you can find on Google or RU-vid by just typing the problem you are experiencing and if you know how to work your way around tool, is free labor.
