2010 - 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen Sunroof leak FIXED

@@ellakraemer9130 Hello I took the headliner down around the passenger side of the car after watching some RU-vid videos about how to do it to make sure there was no other issues surrounding the front passenger side drain hole for the sunroof (Making sure that the tube was still properly attached to the drain hole and in good apparent condition….which it appeared to be in good order). I then carefully blew out the drain tube with an air compressor (I put a smaller diameter tube inside the existing tube so I didn’t accidentally blow the tube out with the air pressure!) I also checked the end of the tube where it comes out in the engine compartment to make sure it was clear. After doing this I poured some water down that drain hole and it drained out into the engine compartment as it is supposed to do! But after some time and having thought that the issue was fixed I ounce again had water come into the passenger are again so I will have to give it another go over to make sure I didn’t overlook something! I also think that this happens during really heavy down pours and that when it heavily rains that the drains get overwhelmed…..so I wish I could say that I was able to fix it but not just as of yet but I will keep working on it as it rains allot here in Florida but thankfully most of the time my car sits inside our garage! The rear two drain into the wheel well, the front two drain by the top of the fire wall, under the windshield, you have to take the windshield cowl off and look under there, I haven't done my front ones yet because my leak was just on the back, but it's a good idea to check all 4 of those nipples at the end.
