always start with basic before you throw cash at the car or think your problem like other on youtube.. so u start from MAF unit and work your way back down and to the right checking every vacuum holes or line. this was a fast one.. this will simple and quick check of cheap rubber line and holes.
as the was the air hose from the maf to the throttle body. when checking for leaks inspect the lines.. maps faster and then intake and value cover.. simple spray will accelerate the engine to the chemicals consumed you can use carpet cleaner parts cleaner mass air flow cleaner to find these leaks around the gasket start from the throttle body the intake James Hook to the engine and then work your way up
this are common problem with any aveo since it birth.
please dont glue this or try to repair this it it broke it done for.. here why again it cheap plastic with rubber. made at the cheapest place at the cheapest cost. junk yard or new can fix your problem. always check with the basic it cost you nothing.. but some time and it skill difficulty is a 0.. shops will rape you over this 150 a hrs.. and the part that will be marked up.. the junk yard 25usd new 110usd plus uncle Sam cut. scanner to clear code and do a run test. this here fixed my p0171 problem..
