I literally just did it to my 2006 charger R/T thanks bro appreciate. My power steering pump blew tf up cuz I was doing donuts like an asshole. Got it replaced. Check engine came on bcuz the sensor on the cold air intake. Put the scanner on took off the check engine then out of no where that appeared. Did exactly what u said to do then “wallah” it worked!!!! Appreciate it bro !!!! Your a life saver. My ocd was killin me seeing that light there now it’s all good 👍🏽
curious - since I just acquired a chrysler Town and County: the ignition key was sticking in the ignition position.......so probably setting the warning light. Ill try your fix now
If they come on and you put it in park, you can’t take it out of park unless you turn car off then back on. Turning car off and back on clears the light. Don’t have to hold key…
I replaced the brake light switch it’s a $20 part behind the brake pedal if you follow the pedal all the way up, cause my cruise control would not work anymore also along with these lights being on, these light no longer come on and my cruise control works now😊
Hi My Dodge Grand Caravan Is Disturbing Me After I Started The Engine and Driving It With Speed Between 20-30 Ph the engine stopped by itself and what am doing is now until I solve the issue I switched it off and start it it will be ok but still happnening many time so can you tell me the proceedure you solve yours please ?
Took my 2006 charger R/T to my mechanic this week because while I was pressing on my brakes my car turned off but once I turned it on again it was driving good until i braked again waiting at a red light and shut off again. Towed it to him and got told there is no problems on my engine or tranny.. but I got 2 codes C107D & U1408 if I do this would this fix my problem?

SPIN WHEEL ALL THE WAY TO RIGHT THEN TO LEFT. TURNED LIGHT OFF TEMPORALLY. TURNED CAR OFF WHILE IN NUTRAL WHILE GOING 20 MPH N RESTARTING IT. TURNED LIGHT OFF TEMPORALLY. LOOKED INTO STEERING ANGLE SENSOR N FOUND THAT IF THIS HAPPENS TO U , IT SHOULD RESET ITSELF AFTER ABOUT 100 MILES OF DRIVING OR SO.IF NOT,THERE ARE CODE READER DEVICES THAT HAVE SAS ON THEM. THIS RESETS YOUR STEERING ANGLE SENSOR. DO THIS BEFORE CHANGING IT.ALSO WHEN U DO CHANGE IT IT SHOULD BE RESET TO CENTER.

Also, it showed which wheel speed sensor was bad , so he changed it, then cleared the ABS/ESP/BAS error lights. You have to fix the problem so the lights go away and stay off.
Beginner Beginner replace the 4 abs speed sensors at each wheel and replace the 4 cv axle reluctor rubber tone rings at each wheel they deteriorate or replace all 4 cv axles
How do you put your ignition on start with out turning the car off. Or do you have the car running at 20 and hold the traction button for a minute then pull over and shut the charger off and then the lights should turn off right? If the lights are on can you do bur out or better to turn those yellow lights off?. Thank you.
This same thing happened to my 2009 Challenger. But I caused it by hooking up the battery terminals backwards. LMK how u get your signal lights working again. I think I may have blown a main fuse?
@@GoGoOpie I fixed the problem. I found out that all I did was blow the fuse. I replaced the fuse and now my lights work. However, the BAS light and traction control light still appear on my dashboard.
I was wondering how the lights would have come on with her driving if he had to go through these steps to get them to come on. It seems highly unlikely that she would have accidentally turned them on after seeing how hard that is to do.
This is what is done for the burnouts but it's really for if you get stuck in snow. Traction control applies the brakes on certain wheels while driving in slippery conditions and moving. You don't want it applying the brakes to certain wheels while trying to go back and forth in a stuck situation on snow, ice or mud.
Angelena James Change all 4 abs wheel speed sensors and 4 magnetic reluctor abs tone rings..tone rings can be purchased separately online or buy 4 new cv axles because they are on the end of the cv axles

Yeh so I have a 07 rt and I have this exact issue I did everything to turn that damn light off but it comes back on right when I start driving and turning
One of them can either be bad and or if it is a front one it also could mean you have a wheel bearing going bad usually the first sign of a wheel bearing going bad

Where did u get the Hurst style shifter. I got a r/t and honestly if is a hemi, it's gotta have a Hurst shifter. But urs looks like just the handle is new with the orginal stem. Or did u replace the whole assembly?
Chrysler’s in this yr range are problematic with respect to electrical and the fuse panels starting with the battery location and the POS (price of shit) Grounding terminals . And avoid jump starting in any form , 2010 Chrysler 300 3.5L with 100k is about the biggest Lemmon I’ve ever owned. This motor from day one has used 2 quarts synthetic oil per tank and a half and Chrysler claimed that was within specs? But my with wanted it so I just keep adding oil and fixing it ! Right pick your battles? Lol
Maybe in an older vehicle. My charger wont engage the starter when I do that. My old 1997 sunfire used to do that. Thing ran so quiet I didnt know it was running till the grinding sound of turning the key while it started got me many times.
My 2008 Dodge Charger does the same thing you have to take it to a mechanic shop and have the code reset this will only work for 2,000 miles after reset then you'll have to get it reset again they usually only charge about $20 to reset it just tell them that's all that you want done is to have the computer reset to get out of limp mode
I used a ODBII scanner to clear the code (which is a temporary fix for a couple of days). Went to dealership and they are telling me it's the Transmission Control Module (TCM)

ESP/BAS LIGHTS. Turning both those off this well happen, AFTER a period of time your car will have ZERO power, you will only be able to go 20mph. To CLEAR it, in the owners manual to start car turn wheel left/right then it will clear both lights you will to drive the car a short distance for this to happen.But they will come back on at sometime. The ESP/BAS light comes on when driving and turning at the same time with your foot on the brake, (like making a right turn) I haven’t figure it out how to permanently clear both on my own. This is with a 2008 charger
