How do you reprogram the one touch? I have to replace mines and not sure what to do?

@@ericbaker395 the way I did it was to hold the close position for 5 seconds after it closes then keep holding the open position for 5 seconds after it opens.

The research I've done shows that the switch failed, I would recommend replacing the whole unit, get one from a junk yard or ebay.

Nope it’s not my market. I do have some friends that only deal with salvaged cars

@@StanMAzify thanks! I have the same type as yours which I bought from auction and trying to fix. Can you tell how long it takes for radiator fan to turn on when the car is idling. My engine coolant temperature comes on when idling or like 5-10min

​@@jaguarbenz9632 Just thinking what the cause maybe I would say there is a delay in the fan turning on which can be a number of things like a software update, thermostat, water pump, fan relay, or the fan module, using a scanner will allow you to activate the fan manually and see the temp of the coolant. There are plenty of mechanics who would scan your car for $85-120 flat rate unlike a dealership costing over $175 per hour

Rest it very easy. Push and hold the switch to close, keep holding for extra 5 seconds after sunroof is completely closed. Then push and hold the switch to the open position and keep holding for extra 5 seconds. Good luck!

No, you do not need to disconnect the battery. Plug and play, very easy.

Warren P. Nice ride. When I was looking and researching for a replacement card when I quickly realize it is the breakdown would be too complex and labor intense for me. I think at such a reasonable price for a complete unit replacement I would go that route and spend under 30 minutes replacing it... eBay is your friend - share your update with me

There is no computer program needed. After installing turn the key to the on position, and hold the sunroof switch forward (close position) until it closes plus 5 seconds after then hold the s witch in the opened position plus 5 seconds after. This should program it.

They do not sell just the switch, at least my Mercedes dealership does not, it's easier to get the whole assembly from a junk yard or ebay just like in the video

@@StanMAzify I saw one post that a dealership did just replace just the switch cause I was on ebay and i couldn't find a single upper assembly for it. It's just getting hard to find. On places like ebay or Amazon they do just sell the switches by themselves so there has to be a feasible way to remove it cause plastic is gonna break. Those pegs that hold the switch aren't the most sturdy. Besides my Mercedes is a w164 ml63 amg and the assembly looks completely different

Try resetting. It’s in your owners manual.
