This happened to my girls car after giving it a jumpstart. It must of came off when revving the engine to keep the car on. It was accelerating on it's own & surging badly on highway. Luckily the part stayed in engine bay all the way home. Her car is good now after putting it back on. Thanks bro!
I have a 1997 Sentra gxe with 92k miles. just put $1600 in repairs. Engine coolant temp sensor that was replaced was defective, caused my car to start sputtering, and died at every red light, idling in traffic more than a few seconds. took 2 to 3 times turning ignition to get it started. once i got to atleast 30 mph it ran fine.
My 2007 sentra does the same thing. I will check it this afternoon. I think a mechanic shop messed up something. I found a light blue and white inner filter type cap and I thought it should be under the break fluid cap. I think its in the wrong place probably.
Just had this problem on my girlfriends car. Found that piece missing and capped it and the car ran fine. Unfortunate that you need to buy the whole hose for one missing piece. How much does Nissan sell it for?
Can anyone help,please.I have a 2008 nissan sentra,the service engine light came on. I took it to auto zone to have the little hand held computer plugged in and they told me it was my throttle body that needed to be replaced but that I should clean it first. So I bought the spray had it cleaned and after driving around for like 3 days the service engine light shut off, but now I've noticed when I'm at a stop or stop light, the car starts to shake like its going to shut off! Can anyone give me some advice as to what they think I should do. Please and thank you
