Non working remote key is a common issue on PSA cars of that era. It is caused by dead capacitors inside the key. You can get cheap replacements Made in China of ebay, just replace the blank key bit with your old one have all avaible keys trained to the controle unit at a garage. This is much cheaper than reordering a new key of Peugeot. Maybe someone very skilled at soldering can even repair it.
@@alexlovesmac The Vti engines are known for being extremely problematic. They are extremely high maintenance engines. Same engine also used in Minis. I'd say stick with the HDi diesels or an older Peugeot with a regular petrol
