You have to take apart entire fuse box and it slides out from underneath, kinda of a process.

Ye, gears wouldn’t shift properly, only would go up to 3rd i think...

I turn on the engine, press the accelerator pedal whether it park or in drive, and nothing happens. The engine just continues to idle at its normal idle. I can’t even drive it because I wouldn’t even be able to make it move since nothing happens when I press the accelerator pedal.

@@bagsfan74 sound like you have a different problem. With this issue vehicle goes into protection mode and wont even let you to put it in drive without manual override.

@@bagsfan74 I have that problem on my Corolla 2012 do you think is the white box? I took it off thinking that's the problem I check the box relay and doesn't seem to be burn ??? Any suggestions?

Same thing happened to my car nothing will work , did you ever find out what it was , im hoping fusible, link will do , changed my alternator for got to unplug

You either have a short somewhere or if you have a sound system it may not be wired properly.

@@cybersurfer614 I found the culprit I have 2010 scion xb and there is some type of short in the ecu-b I have replace the fuse link twice it keeps shorting out. So I put a test light on the positive terminal with it unhooked and left the negative hooked up to see if I have some short. After pulling all the fuses when I pull the ecu-b fuse the light shuts off. It says it controls gauge cluster power windows and power doors. I checked all the wiring under the dash and can’t seem to find a trace. It will run for 3 weeks or so and pop again.

Did you ever figure out the reason yours popped?

@@hype_henry I shorted the circuit during replacing of the alternator.

@@hype_henry Ye this one is tough one, i would check the wiring around the alternator and the starter perhaps.

Sorry to hear that...you can bypass that, by placing one end of jumper cable on + battery and the the the other on the bolted 10mm nut pin in the fuse box by the battery

@@cybersurfer614 my dads got a 2009 corolla S. battery drains he just got an alternator and the battery keeps dieing over night what is the part called.

@@DJbickythemaster More Than likely it's your trunk light staying on even while closed. Have someone get in the trunk and check while it;s closed.
