Had similar problems. I went to my VW specialist and he took off the plastic cover on top of the engine and checked around the throttle body. He noticed that the 8 (or 6 ?) wire connector harness have been tempered with at some point because he noticed some custom soldering along some of the wires. He played, moved and wiggled a bit with the wire connectors and suggested me to change the throttle body. I went to the used car scrapyard to fetch another throttle body and noticed on the way that the problem was gone !!! Simply by playing and wiggling with the wire harness solved the problem. This means that the problem can be caused by a faulty connection wire in the 8 wire harness stack around the throttle body. Check it out...
If you want the annoying beeping to STOP pull fuses 29 and 30 on passenger side dash fuse box they are both 20 Amp fuses that control the parking brake modules. Remove until you get it fixed. Problem is usually electrical issue to Left rear epb. Does need replacing. Usually not the switch.
what can be the issue if i changed rear parking brake rotors both side and parking engane disengage, but if i turn off car, start back code comes in , if i leave car turned off more than 5minutes, and start it , theres no code ... all works but code comes up.
That error comes up often due to low voltage on the battery. You should plug a vag scanner and it should pop up the code. Another common failure is that the brake switch (yes the button itself might need to be replaced that also indicates a code on the vag scanner). You should check it first of all see if the switch has light illumination on it, it should glow in the dark like the light switch window switch etc. if it doesn't then the switch needs to be replaced. It's a common thing the switch still works and engages the brakes but pop-s up an error. Also if you had done something to the parking brake system after this job done you need to have an adaptation because it might pop up this icon also.
I had a problem like this too. And it turn out that the drinks like coffee, tea, soft drinks etc.. at the cupholder area was spilling slowly slowly time to time the wiring and connection made this problem. Just got gear handle out and clean the area and good to go
You need an OBD 11 to kill that fault code. I’ve done the reset and after that I never use the parking brake unless it is initiated by using auto hold mode.
