1:34:05 has got to be one of the defining plays of Matthews illustrious career. Never quit on the play, runs the back down and forces a fumble beautifully with a well placed punch. Gota love that play.

45-17. One of my favorite packers blowouts ever. Although 55-14 and 53-20 in 2014 were also fun games. But this is the game that got the pack motivated. I remember watching this game as well.

This is one of Aaron Rodgers greatest games ever. It was a honor to watch this game. He DESTROYED the Giants. It just wasn’t a playoff game but this game was basically a playoff game because of the record the packers had.

Crazy forgotten rivalry: NYG vs Packers 07-12. 2007 played 2x, 2011 played 2x, plus 2010, 2012, with the Giants losing in Reg season and beating the 15-1 Pack in 2011 Divisional. in the NFC Championship of 2007 had to sting as Favre's last game in Lambeau. The Giants brought a LOT of pain in 07 and 2011 by upsetting teams whose fan bases rightfully expected Glory. Aint NOTHING worse in sports then to be on the wrong side of a postseason upset; to be a top seed humbled by a 9-7 or 10-6 squad barely got into the playoffs.

I was at this game. I'll never forget walking out after. The whole crowd chanting the bears still suck. They had to play them the following week in the final game.

I didn't know there was a High School team named the NY Giants, and the players resemble the NFL players amazingly well.

After this game is when the Bears decided to play their starters for the week 17 matchup vs. Green Bay. They knew they had to try and eliminate the Packers from getting into the playoffs. Sure enough, the NFC championship game proved the Bears had a legitimate reason behind their logic as the Packers beat them 21-14 to advance and win their 4th Superbowl.

I was at the game with my father. It had been months after my brother's death that I got to attend.

What will happen to Rodgers?

Funny how these teams beat on each other for years. Next year the 15-1 Packers lose to the Giants in the playoffs. Tit for tat. Packers team is loaded the next year they were easily the best team in the league. Possibly the best receiver core in the history of football with Rodgers being the big winner. It also signified the reality of Rodgers. No dynasty, no repeats and Rodgers proved this was it. Still a great year.

Just a disappointing way to end for the giants in 2010. The week before they suffered that humiliating home loss to the eagles known in giants lore as “miracle at the new meadowlands” and then lost this game. Barely missed the playoffs at 10-6 (the eagles got the season sweep that year over the giants, so they couldn’t clinch the division) and they couldn’t clinch the 6 seed because the packers won the final wild card spot (they couldn’t clinch the division despite beating the bears the next week since they had a better overall record than the packers). I truly believe they would’ve won the super bowl (or at least, represented the nfc) that year

Boy Master Chief Smedley was really pissed off about this one for a few months! He believes this game cost them the playoffs..

Everyone says the Giants should have won in 2008 and blew it but if this team just won one more lousy game and got in that NFC bracket, they basically had the same offense that won it all in 2011.

This game and subsequent seasons in his career is indicative of Eli Manning's exclusion from the Football Hall of Fame regardless of his two Super Bowl wins. He rides on name only.

Hate this Giants uniform. Got to bring back the old uniform from 1970s and 1980s, with the all White with Red Blue trim, and 'Giants' helmets. These uniforms loook cheap. Also sad to see how good the Giants were these days compared to now.

How does eli manning have 2 super bowls and aaron rodgere only has one. Aaron Rodgers is far better than eli manning stat wise. But appeartly Eli manning is one of the best qb best in nfl history because he has 2 super bowls despite hes medicroe stats. Maybe it wasnt eli who one them 2 super bowls and it was really the giants defense that won them those games or they got some lucky bs one of those 2.

The end of this season we lose badly to this team and the eagles. So depressing. But I don't mind because if not for these losses I don't think we win the super bowl in 2011. Good seasons are memorable but super bowls are eternal.
