They started out the season on fire then fell off by September and got bested by Cliff Lee. It was a good team though. Jeter had an off year and Posada was on his way out but Pettitte was great up until the injury, CC was throwing Cy Young stuff, Phi Hughes won 18 games, A-Rod actually lasted a full season, Cano was hitting his stride, Swisher was an all star, Granderson was a great upgrade in Center Mariano was untouchable until a couple of bloops in September, David Robertson was starting to make waves and the second half pick up of Kerry Wood was awesome.
