I’ve got this model on my 2011 F150, my wife insisted the dealer install it. Well, it never worked 100% of the time, at best 80%, and if I knew it was this easy I’d have done it. Also, the reason I’m here is because it’s likely shorted out my security system. Thanks for the vid, now I know how to remove it and throw it away!

no i picked it up off ebay. I purchased from Fairway Ford on eBay years ago. I see there is another seller selling at a cheaper rate out of california. search on ebay but not sure if that seller is oe or aftermarket. my kit came with ford logos on all pieces

My truck has a factory oem remote start kit installed but I don't have the key fob that has the remote start button, do I have to order a key from ford or can I get a cheaper one from Amazon and have them cut and program it?
Hello brother.. It has not been tested on the Ford Raptor. I sold the car before trying it and now I offered it for sale, but someone bought it from me, but the remote control was not programmed on his car because his Gulf car depends on the frequency 315 and it turns out that the remote control has a frequency of 433 MHz, is there a way to convert the frequency Car remote control from 433 to 315?
No I do not know how to set it for first initial start. I do it by the remote. Push lock and start twice and it continues the runtime longer when running if I remember correctly. Haven't done it in a while
@@LUCAMTire @jason G Hi there guys, good video by the way. The only extra step on the setup is to enable the Remote Start settings to pull up options on your dash screen. For my 2013 F150 it was line 720-01-02 on the IPC Module. Middle numbers were switched from 4C0A to 4F0A. You would be able to adjust the Run Time, climate control setting. Hope that helps, it did for me.
@@drg0809 cool I believe the 2011 and 2013 have different clusters. I might be able to put the run time at a different interval but would not be able to adjust climate control there. I am not sure how the standards work. I believe you have to tap into e brake switch along with a couple other things for the aftermarket setups. You should have a hood switch so it does not turn the engine on by mistake when working on it. I would suggest talking to your local remote start experts or having them do the job if not familiar.
I did the installation on my 2013 f150 xlt and it only works once after I enabled it if I what it to work once again I have to disable/eneble but same only works once any ideas please on what it might be
I am not sure of the procedure. You will need to do a key procedure. Assuming it is along the same lines as this procedure but with out the door locks. I would suggest googling the forums to see if all the codes are the same and procedure is the same. Forscan has a forum with a assortment of answered questions
@@patricksannicolas1241 should be able to find the procedure through forscan forums. Try year make model manual locks remote start forscan in a Google search and see if this will narrow it down for you

I have a hood switch but it's not plugged into anything. I have the remote start button on my key but when I try to remote start it will just beep and flash the lights.

You need to turn the remote start module on. I will send you the video link to all the steps. You need to push the lock button and then the start button twice
Off Ebay. Came from a ford dealer out of Michigan. They shipped to my door in canada. Was 3 to 400$ cheaper then purchasing it at my local ford dealer. Not sure where the direct Ebay link is now though.
